Introduction

The AUSCP SX170/43 consists of a thread separating mechanism, turning-over mechanism, conveying mechanism, positioning mechanism, sealing mechanism, cutting mechanism, book separating mechanism, thread cutting head mechanism, and intelligent control system.

Function and Features

• High Speed and Precision: Maximum speed of up to 170 signatures per minute, with a fully sealed cam control box filled with lubricating oil for smooth and durable operation. The flywheel accurately drives paper feeding, conveying, and saddle stitching. The book signature on the saddle is precisely positioned through a synchronized belt structure with a puller.
• Intelligent Debugging: A colored touchscreen monitors the entire production process, including paper feeding, conveying, lockstitching, and receiving, ensuring the quality of lockstitching.
• Fault Detection & Identification: When faults such as missing signatures, multi-signatures, jams, dropped signatures, shortened signatures, or broken signatures occur, the machine will alarm and pause, displaying the fault.
• Automatic Mis-Signature Detection Function (Optional): Optional feature for detecting and handling mis-signatures.
• Memory Storage: Can store up to 20 different book sewing programs, which can be recalled as needed.
• Automatic Plate Adjustment: By setting the size of the signature on the touchscreen and confirming the page-turning method, the transmission system automatically positions the conveyor belt, opens the page-turner, adjusts the position of the fixed saddle drive chain and acceleration wheel, and adjusts the height of the finished book platform. Simple and easy to learn, with fast operation and quick plate switching, improving production efficiency.
• Sub-Posting: The blower and manipulator separate the bottom of the book post from the pile of book posts. The separated book post is extracted from the feeding hopper with a tooth, while the book sticker tilting device helps eliminate scratching on the surface of the book post.
• Signature Separation: The blower and mechanical arm separate the bottom signature from the pile, and the suction cup extracts the separated signature from the feeder. The tilting device helps eliminate scratches on the surface of the signature.
• Automatic Page-Turning: The page-turner is equipped with four programmable vacuum suction devices on both the upper and lower sides, allowing for 4+4 vacuum page-turning. It can handle signatures with even or uneven tops and bottoms, automatically flipping through sets of pages, loose pages, and signatures without long or short edges, or unevenly thick signatures. It can also turn pages of signatures with edges over 8 mm long or short.
• Signature Conveying: The signature is placed on the conveying saddle after being turned and is pushed by the conveying chain hook. The acceleration wheel sends the signature into the active lockstitch saddle, and the speed of the acceleration wheel automatically adjusts according to the speed of the machine.
• Automatic Signature Separation and Thread Cutting: The automatic signature separation and thread cutting device cuts the excess thread to about 8 ~ 10 mm for easy binding. It can separate the book signatures one by one according to the settings, regardless of the number of signatures in the book.
• Flat and Cross Locking: The use of fine ultra-short needles (16 mm) and close needle spacing (19 mm) for locking results in a flatter product that is less prone to glue leakage, ensuring a high-quality locking effect. The locking device is composed of a cam-style equipment unit, which not only reduces noise but also prolongs the life of the cam. Flat or cross locking can be selected based on customer needs.
• Lubrication on Demand: Equipped with a centralized oil supply lubrication system, oil pressure alarm, and oil storage device. When the machine is in operation, lubricant is precisely supplied through pipes to wherever necessary in a timely manner.
